Thanks to Jhh Löwengard for introducing me to the fun Bass Membrane Clarinet made by Nicolas Bras. My first impulse was to make a mushroom mask, then maybe a frog. As chance would have it, I realized that the photo (by Edwin Giesbers) on my April Nature Conservancy calendar is of a common frog under a parasol mushroom in the Netherlands. Perfect! April 16, 2026.
